holocaust poem
The Jewish man was part of the holocaust many years ago
and on his arm I saw the numbers I heard of in stories i've been told
he tried to block out his past and bad memories
and to that I gave all my sympathy
That night I couldn't sleep and kept having a dream
and kept hearing the tortureous screams
then I saw the man with the sad face
and all the people in that dark place
Then I tried to block out his past and bad memories
that I had given all my sympathy
